GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps Announces 2011 Summer Camp Schedule Including 20 New Locations

Lax Camp

(Vocus/PRWEB) February 18, 2011

Summer lacrosse camps leader GameBreaker Lacrosse has published their 2011 summer lacrosse camp schedule. Over 5,000 lacrosse players attend these camps annually to get better, make friends, and have fun. Overnight and day lacrosse camps are offered.

The GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps have a unique balance between instruction and scrimmages at their camps, providing campers with the opportunity to learn new skills while also gaining game-time experience. Cornell University Head Coach Jeff Tambroni, the 2009 Field Turf / NCAA Division I Coach of the Year and GameBreaker Director for the Miami Lacrosse Camp, says “summer lacrosse camp provides a great opportunity to improve a player’s individual skills in a learning environment that is both fun and challenging.”

Lacrosse is the fastest growing team sport in the country with over 300,000 youth players and 225,000 high school players, according to US Lacrosse. Many coaches appreciate the role that camp plays in the development of team members. “Teams are developed in the season, while players are developed in the summer,” according to Chris Bulger, the President of GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps. This year, over 100,000 players will attend a summer lacrosse camp for boys or girls.

As the sport of lacrosse has grown, GameBreaker has expanded geographically to accommodate for new players in emerging lacrosse states. “Lacrosse is not longer just an east coast sport,” comments Taylor Nissi, GameBreaker’s Marketing Coordinator. “The national growth of lacrosse has been staggering and we are responding to coaches in these new areas who are in search of the expert coaching that we provide.”

Interested prospective campers can learn more about the GameBreaker Advantage and view the 2011 lacrosse camps schedule at http://www.LaxCamps.com.

Christmas Lights Etc. Announces the Hottest Holiday Items of the Season for 2008

Christmas Lights Etc. Announces the Hottest Holiday Items of the Season for 2008

Energy Efficient LED Christmas Lights

Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) November 6, 2008

Georgia-based Christmas Lights Etc. (http://www.christmaslightsetc.com), the leading online retailer of premium Christmas trees, holiday lighting and decorations for homes, commercial decorators and businesses announces the Hottest Holiday Items of the Season for Christmas 2008. The list includes the latest trends in natural-looking Christmas trees, eco-friendly LED lighting, and economical and environmentally friendly yard decorations.

For 2008, more holiday shoppers are incorporating environmentally conscious products into their holiday decorating. Of particular focus are LED Christmas lights offering brighter and longer lasting bulbs that use up to 98% less energy than traditional incandescent lighting. This year more than ever, LEDs are being purchased as a cost conscious, energy saving alternative for lighting home fronts, rooftops and Christmas trees. Holiday LEDs come in a variety of shapes and color options. Available shapes include round, mini icicle and conical, in colors like clear, white, gold, blue, red, green, orange, yellow, pink and more. LEDs lights have become so popular that in fact that more and more Prelit Artificial Christmas Trees and wreaths are now being designed with LED Christmas lights on them.

In recent years, TruTip Artificial Christmas Trees have been introduced as natural-looking alternatives to forest cut trees, and this year consumers are leaning toward TruTip trees as long-term, economical solutions to achieving the natural look and feel of real Christmas trees without the annual expenditure that comes with repurchasing real trees year after year. Buying a live tree requires a trip to the tree farm, constant watering, special disposal and a crew of firefighters on watch every year at Christmas time. Artificial trees require none of these things and, in the case of TruTip trees, provide a similarly natural appearance with branches that hang in a realistic irregular pattern and tips that look and feel like their live counterparts.

Nostalgic items are also en vogue for 2008. Included in this group are Moravian Stars. These outdoor lamps turn typical evening outdoor settings into magical Christmas night scenes. The bright, 3-dimensional stars hang down from tree branches in the yard and cast a northern light onto any dark backdrop. Moravian stars come in a variety of luminescent colors and are an inexpensive way to add elegance and whimsy to your home. Also popular for the yard this year are Grapevine Outdoor Topiary Christmas Decorations. Outdoor Grapevine-made decorations offer consumers a natural alternative to traditional PVC crafted topiaries. These products come prelit and are produced from natural, recyclable grapevine wood material. They come in handcrafted versions of Santa’s Reindeer and Sleigh and satisfy the needs of Christmas enthusiasts who like to design their front yards and roofs with seasonal settings and lifelike figures.

Finally, with economical concerns at the forefront for consumers in 2008, shoppers are encouraged to buy online as a way to reduce fuel costs and (in most circumstances) avoid paying taxes. Each of the hot holiday items included on this year’s list can be found on sale on the ChristmasLightsEtc.com website. In addition to the many holiday values being offered this season, Christmas Lights Etc. is also providing tree customers with FREE shipping on all trees over $ 95.

adidas Tennis Camps Announces 2011 Summer Camp Schedule Including Five New Locations

adidas Tennis Camps Announces 2011 Summer Camp Schedule Including Five New Locations

Get Better This Summer!

(Vocus/PRWEB) February 25, 2011

One of the summer tennis camps leaders adidas Tennis has published their 2011 summer tennis camp schedule. Over 2,000 tennis players attend these camps annually to get better, make friends, and have fun. Overnight and day tennis camps are offered.

The adidas Tennis Camps have a unique balance between instruction and match/point play at their camps, providing campers with the opportunity to learn new skills while also gaining important match experience. University of Wisconsin Head Men’s Tennis Coach Greg Van Emburgh, former professional tennis player and adidas Tennis Camps Director for the UW Madison tennis camp, says “summer tennis camp provides a great opportunity for each player to improve their individual skills in a learning environment that is both fun and challenging.”

Tennis is considered by many to be the “sport of a lifetime.” We try to give our campers an amazing experience with both learning and fun that makes them want to continue to play the sport for years to come. Many coaches appreciate the role that camp plays in the development of individual junior tennis players. The repetition that each person received while at camp really helps to create the proper habits on the tennis court. As adidas Tennis Camps President Charley Biggs stated, “Our goal is to make sure each camper learns the proper technique for all strokes and leaves camp with a greater confidence in their tennis game.” As the adidas Tennis Camps have grown, we have found it necessary to add more sessions at most of our locations to accommodate our families desire to attend multiple weeks.

Interested prospective campers can learn more about the adidas Tennis Camps and view the 2011 tennis camps schedule at http://www.tenniscamper.com.

The adidas Tennis Camps are a division of eCamps, Inc. eCamps is a nationally recognized provider of summer sports camps. Other camps include the GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps, Revolution Field Hockey Camps, Revolution Softball Camps and International Squash Academy.
